Albert Dall - JEMS Founder
Albert Dall – Founder of JEMS

Albert Dall has over two decades of experience in human resources management, including organisational development, job evaluation and management services.

With post-graduate qualifications in the field of humanities as well as economic and administrative sciences, Albert started working as a Human Resource Officer at the Municipality of Windhoek, Namibia in the 1980s.

He has excelled in various positions over the next 15 years, including that of Credit Manager at Namtrac (a subsidiary of Barlow World Namibia), Head of HR at TransNamib Carriers and Senior Lecturer of Human Resource Management at the Polytechnic of Namibia (now Namibia’s University of Science and Technology).

He grew from humble beginnings into a leading HR expert. In 1997, Albert branched into the business of consulting and started a partnership between ITO Focus and his own business, IR & T Consulting. In 2004, he became a founding Board Member for the Namibia Association of Consultants (NAMAC) and in the same year he was elected as an Executive Committee member to Namibia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), Windhoek Branch.

Wanting to branch out his services from Namibia to other countries in the SADC, Albert joined PE Corporate Services in South Africa in 2008 as a Senior Management Consultant where he interacted with executives and senior managers of client-companies, while consulting on a variety of HR processes.

Combining his expertise in people management with his knowledge of the structures and organisations that manage them, he launched Job Evaluation and Management Services (JEMS) more recently with a view of servicing South Africa and other SADC countries. JEMS partners with various (HR) management consultants and businesses to offer a variety of services including – but not limited to – facilitating organisational design and organisational development processes, job evaluation (mainly Paterson) and reward management (such as salary structuring and benchmarking), project management and management/facilitation of other HR-related processes such as HR strategy and policy development.

Albert is a member of a variety of organisations such as the Institute of People Management (IPM) South Africa (initially forming part of the team to revamp the Pretoria Committee in 2017), Centurion Business Forum which is affiliated to the Small Business Institute (SBI), and South African Reward Association (SARA). He has also been affiliated with IPM Namibia, the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), and the Professional Arbitration and Mediation Association of Namibia (PAMAN).

Albert has built a successful career on his understanding of people management and a desire to see a fair and equitable working environment for employees in all areas of business. In terms of employment equity legislation in South Africa, employees must be paid fairly and equally. To hear more about the services offered by JEMS, fill out this form
